The 3° Reggimento Bersaglieri was the sole Axis division in ViE Campaign 3. The Division was commanded by Generale di Divisione Moondogg who was selected by Axis CinC Ewok. The division was based on a real Italian Army division which is still existing to this day, based in Milan, Italy.
The divisional tag was [3-RB]. Its main adversary was the US3ID (US 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized)).
The [3-RB] used Italian ranks which already showed some aspects that were later incorporated into the Career System. However, it was the last Axis division not to use standardized Career System ranks. The squad structure of the 3-RB was still based on the traditional Axis structure with three squads, a defense squad, an offense squad an an elite/infiltration squad.
To this day (ViE#8), the 3-RB remains one of the most successful division of all time in ViE, with 19 victories and only 5 defeats. It remained undefeated on home soil throughout the campaign. (See Division#Stats).

Compagnia Controcarro (CC)
This was the main offense squad, led by 1° Tenente Creventz.
Compagnia Guastatori (GU)
This was the main defense squad, led by Capitano BRANCALEONE.
Compagnia Motomitraglieri (MM)
This was the elite squad, led by Maggiore DeadlyFreud.

History
Bersaglieri are Italian light infantry, dating back to World War I and even before then into the 1800s. The Bersaglieri had a reputation of being good marksmen, as well as though fighters. (see also: Bersaglieri)
Bersaglieri units on more than one occasion have defended positions to the last man.
The 3° R.B. is still active to this day, and is located in Milan, Italy.
